Abstract Wire necklace
—10th May 2009
We were invited to go to a Christmas party, I bought a new dress, that had a low-ish neck line so I needed a different necklace to wear with it.
As I really enjoy making twisted wire Jewellery and trying different techniques and styles, I looked in my beading box to discover a few large Swarovski crystals which I had bought a while ago. After a while I came up with a design I liked, I am happy how the design evolved around the large crystals, I added colour to hi-light the crystals and at the same time matched the colour in the dress.
The necklace always feels special on and I always receive a lot of complements which is nice.

Knitted Christmas Serviette Rings
—10th May 2009
About three years ago it was our turn to have the Family Christmas at our home. I knitted these serviette rings with wire and Green and Red seed beads to help add a touch of colour to the White tablecloth which we all ready had. On the day the table looked very festive and special, it was a great Christmas day.

Knitted Silver Wire with Fresh Water Pearls Bangle
—10th May 2009
When I was thinking of making this I thought about different textures, and opposite materials, after a while I came up with a knitted silver wire bracelet with fresh water Peals and Clear Swarovski Crystals scattered through out the design. The bracelet is worn very snug on the wrist and looks very unusual.

Open Flower Wire Necklace
—10th May 2009
This is one of my latest projects, which I really enjoyed doing, I am very happy how the necklace looks, it is the first time I have tried weaving with wire seed beads and Swarovski crystals, I am hooked. I showed my sister when the necklace was finished, she said "yes please I will have one too!"- still working on that one.

Spring Wire Necklace
—10th May 2009
This is the first twisted wire necklace I ever made, a bit hard to show but it has a lot of clear flowers and leaves twisted into the wire. Still one of my favorites for summer time, I can were it Day and Night, without feeling over done.

Twisted Bead Bangle
—10th May 2009
And this is my very first attempt of beading in any form and yes it is wire based, with a variety of shapes and sized beads. Even back then I was drawn to wire work, I think because it is so different and challenging.

Woven 2-Tone Flower Petal with Fresh Water Pearls and Crystal
—10th May 2009
I made this brooch for our Daughter for part of her Birthday present, I thought it would look nice on her suit jacket lapels. Gold and Clear seed beads was chosen for the petals and Fresh water Pearls and Clear Swarovski Crystals for the centre stamens I thought they would go with any colour suit and look a bit more formal as well.
